As the nation's interest in health and wellness has increased, so has interest in the field of health coaching. Health and fitness centers often employ certified health coaches and individuals to help clients manage weight, reduce stress, exercise more regularly, and generally improve levels of health and wellness.
This certificate program will appeal to practitioners from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds including physicians, nurses, chiropractors, psychologists, social workers, nutritionists, pharmacists, individuals who practice acupuncture, individuals who practice naturopathy, physical fitness trainers, weight management coaches, and physical therapists among others.
